A 14 Day Thanksgiving Campaign on Psalm 67
Main Theme Verse:
Psalm 67:3-4 (NIV)
"May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth."
This psalm is a song of blessing and thanksgiving that envisions all nations joyfully praising God.
It aligns with the idea of collective, global gratitude.
This November, we journey through Psalm 67 and discover how thanksgiving is not just a personal response, but a global calling.
God blesses us so that His name will be known among the nations.
Each Sunday, we will explore how our treasures, praise, grace, testimony, and unity
all point to a thankful people who declare His glory to the ends of the earth.
On Thanksgiving Sunday, November 30, we will come together as one family to offer our thanksgiving gifts, celebrating God's faithfulness and His heart for The Nations.
November 2
Pre-Kick Off // Birthday Sunday
Title: Treasures of God
Text: Psalm 67:1-2
"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us-so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations."
Stewardship and generosity. All we have comes from God's gracious blessing. We are not owners but stewards of His treasures, meant to make His salvation known among the nations.
Supporting Verse:
Matthew 6:21 - "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
November 9
Kick Off // Communion Sunday
Title: Tribe of Praise
Text: Psalm 67:3
"May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you."
God's people are called to be a tribe of praise. Thanksgiving is not just personal, but communal uniting people across the world to glorify God.
Supporting Verse: 1 Peter 2:9- "You are a chosen people... that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
November 16
Week 1// Life Group Sunday
Title: Triumph of Nations
Text: Psalm 67:4
"May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth."
The true triumph of nations is not in power or wealth but in the joy that comes from God's righteous and just rule. When God reigns, nations rejoice and find lasting peace.
Supporting Verse: Isaiah 9:7 - "Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end..."
November 23
Week 2 // Facility Sunday
Title: Testimony of Thanks
Text: Psalm 67:5-6
"May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us."
Focus: Thanksgiving is a testimony to the world. When we give thanks, it reflects God's provision and points others to His faithfulness. Our gratitude becomes a witness to the nations.
Supporting Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
November 30
Week 3
Thanksgiving Sunday
Title: Together in Thanksgiving
Text: Psalm 67:7
"May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him."
Thanksgiving Sunday culminates in united praise and giving. As we bring our thanksgiving gifts, we do so together believing God will use them to make His name known "to the ends of the earth."
Supporting Verse:
2 Corinthians 9:11 - "You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."
