Salvation in Relation to sin and Divine Justice

Intro:
 Salvation in relation to sin is prior to it (Rev. 13: 8)! 
 Salvation is seen by His people in sequence termed in Latin ‘Ordo Salutis’.
 Salvation to sin is better understood about our standing before the Holy God.  
 Our good / righteous standing before God is our  . . . 
  
I. Justification before His Judicial Attribute (Rom. 5: 1; 8: 1 – 4)

    We Were Saved from the Penalty for Sin! – Rom. 6: 23
      A. Spiritual Death – Jn. 5: 48
      B. Sense if Guilt – Rom 4: 6 - 8 
      C. Sin of Blasphemy against the Spirit unto death – II Cor. 12: 3, 4

Note: We need to reckon ourselves dead to sin!
Transition: Reckoning ourselves dead to sin, we will experience  . . .  


II. Sanctification before his Holiness (I Thess. 2: 1, 2) 

We are Being Saved from the Power of Sin – Rom. 6: 17
     A. Separation from sphere of sin to spiritual holy life-Titus 2: 10 – 16
     B. Separation from besetting sin of doubts and unbelief to faith-rest 
        lie – Heb. 12: 1, 2
     C. Separation from sinful world system to Spirit-filled life – I Jn. 2: 
       15; Eph. 4: 30;  5: 19
