Evangelize ALL while Disciple A FEW: Jesus Style

Praise the LORD for our CAMPUS PASTORS!  We have a lot of them scattered in different campuses of the Philippines.  One of them is our brother Rey Maquero Ricardo.  He is assigned to CEBU UNIVERSITY.  Hallelujah for the faith, commitment and passion of this gentleman!

Lately, he posted this REPORT on FB:  "... yesterday as i ministered to my classmate MATTHEW (not his realy name for confidentiality), i could really discern the oppressing spirit that kept him away from the love of GOD ... and as i kept on sharing the love of GOD for him, he kept on resisting this truth. im starting to get mad why this man is so hard. while he kept talking to me i silently prayed to GOD. the Holy Spirit spoke to me saying i need to rebuke the spirit controlling him. when im about to do it ... time ran out.  i just told him that we will meet again in the afternoon after our last subject. as we went our separate ways my spirit was still interceding for MATTHEW, while inside the library as the Spirit led me, i kept rebuking the spirit inside of him and declared salvation for his life. the Holy Spirit totally consumed me that i can no longer stop my mouth in speaking in tongues (as i was in prayer). im at the corner of the library praying in the spirit and suddenly the ground shook and shook that all the students in the library went rushing to the exit. praise GOD that im not shaken ... I continued to pray. JESUS promised that He will be with me in making disciples. i declared and declared while the ground continued to shake. i received a revelation from GOD ... affirming to me that HE and the Heavenly host is with me in making disciples and that earthquake is his proof!!! whooah! this is really it!  the time has come to expand the kingdom of GOD :D" (with minor editing to fit the idea).

Rey continued by asking for:  "pls be with me in prayer:D we already won this battle:D"  -- Cebu City, Philippines (February 7, 2012).

I praise the LORD for the passion of Rey in Making Disciples!  He will make it.

I few comments I made after he posted this.  I am posting it here for you to read and discuss along as we engage people inside the Campuses of the WORLD!  Wherever you are!

• never look for HARD people first ... rather find who are the F.A.T. people first!
• In fact Jesus made sure that the HARD people and the UNSURE PEOPLE did not get most of His time. He gave His time to OPEN, HUNGRY, REPENTANT and WILLING PEOPLE. Go for the style of Jesus :-)
• RULE of THUMB: Love ALL, Disciple A FEW. - this is what Jesus did :-)
• ANOTHER TIP: AFTER you get your 12 F.A.T. people, STOP!!! LET THEM HAVE their 12 ... with you COACHING, EMPOWERING and BUILDING THEM :-) ... see related article below ... • DISCERN .... WISDOM ... ACCELERATION and GODLY INTENSITY be upon you all!
• START LOOKING around ... WHO IS OPEN? WHO IS HUNGRY? WHO WANTS MORE? WHO WANTS TO BE FOLLOWED UP? >>>>> LEAVE BEHIND THE HARD, THE BORED, THE CONTENSCIOUS, THE DEBATER, THE ARGUMENTATIVE, THE CONTROVERSIAL, THE PHARISEES, THE SADDUCEES AND THE REJECTORS <<<<<
• Usually you find the OPEN and the DISCIPLABLE ... here:
• a.  The 2nd Timers at church.
• b.  The Inquisitive.
• c.  The people God will lead you to IN REVELATION KNOWLEDGE (remember Cornelius?). PRAY FOR YOUR CORNELIUS THIS MONTH. GO GO GO ....
• I give you 1 month to START OFF your ministry to your 12. go go go and make DISCIPLES who wants to be DISCIPLED. LEAVE behind the unwilling. Jesus did so ... REMEMBER? .... you cannot be my disciple STATEMENTS OF JESUS (see Luke 14) :-)
• Waste NO MORE TIME :-)
• Waste NO MORE TIME. GO GO GO .... look for people who is in TUNED! look for people who wants to BOW down to God and Follow Him wholeheartedly! CHECK OUT who wants to hear in the Spirit :-)
• NOTE: "Hard people makes our EGO grow big! We tend to see them as HUNTED ANIMALS ... and when we shoot them down ... we feel proud :-) AYAYAY .... pride diay! Lets go and BRING IN THE HARVEST! Start where Jesus has started :-) WHO IS OPEN?
  WHO IS DESPERATE? WHO WANTS GOD? WHO SEEKS FOR GOD? Begin where Jesus has started :-) THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN WE SAY ... it was the work of Jesus and not OUR ABILITY :-)

A PRAYER FOR ALL OUR CAMPUS PASTORS:   Lord I pray for SEEING EYES of Faith and Discipleship among our Campus Pastors. Lord Jesus, I pray that they only DO the work you have already started. Show them Lord Jesus, who are OPEN, DESPERATE, HUMBLE and WILLING TO BE DISCIPLED this Quarter of 2012. Lord Jesus we will keep on Loving THE HARD CORE, THE REJECTORS and EVEN THE ENEMIES of the Gospel and Your Name. BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT we will DISCIPLE CAREFULLY those who wants to TAKE YOUR YOKE, YOUR BURDEN THAT IS LIGHT UPON THEM. Lord may we never waste our time, energy, effort, money on FEILDS that are not yet RIPE and READY. We will not oh Lord cast our Pearls to the SWINE :-) Give us prudence and discernment oh God!

ANOTHER GUIDING RULE: Evangelize ALL; DISCIPLE Few.
What ???

• A FARMER that is wise will CAST HIS SEEDS where?
• A FISHPOND OWNER that is prudent will HARVEST when?
• A SOLDIER that is prepared will shoot his last bullet where?

Chuck Allic, our Campus Pastor in Dumaguete, Siliman University, posted:  "The calling of God is not of the good and the bad but for those who are WILLING."

• AMEN ... discipleship is for the WILLING ... to take the yoke, to be ready to be taught, to UNLEARN many things in loving surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ :-) LETS NOT BE HARD on people ... lets just be DISCERNING :-)
• AGAIN:  "LOVE ALL; DISCIPLE FEW"  The Jesus Style :-)
• ENOUGH WITH CROWDS... go for LIFEGroups :-)
• ENOUGH WITH ENTERTAINMENT ... go for EDUCATION of the Heart :-)
• ENOUGH with EVENTS ... go for PROCESS :-)
• THEN WE WILL HAVE POWER-FILLED CITY-WIDE EVENTS!

• YOU HAVE TO HAVE A "ONE OF THOSE DAYS TO GO TO THE MOUNTAINSIDE TO PRAY"
• YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SPENDING OF THE NIGHT PRAYING TO GOD. DISCIPLES WILL BE GIVEN BY GOD IN PRAYER FIRST.
• YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MORNING. THEN CALL THEM. THEN CHOOSE THEM. Who? The willing, the open, the ones ready to leave their nets behind.
• AFTER YOU CALL YOUR DISCIPLES. TURN THEM LOSE TO BE APOSTLES. MEANING? do not control them. Rahter Coach them how to live! Release them. APOSTLESHIP MEANS TO BE SENT FORTH. Notice: JESUS did not baby sit them :-) It takes some time ...
• ENOUGH WITH BABY SITTING ... it is about time you RELEASE WARRIORS ... ready to fight, suffer for the Name of the King, cast out demons, and heal and preach ..... THIS IS OF COURSE WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF OJT.
