WE WILL BE Setting 

the Table First!!

The Shared Meal: Hospitality is considered 

one of Alpha’s "7 Best Practices" (we will explore more soon these). 

Because of this, every ALPHA session always BEGINS with FOOD, whether it is a full-course catered dinner, a potluck, or just coffee and snacks. 

Dismantling Barriers: 

Modeled after how Jesus shared meals in the 

New Testament, Alpha uses food to intentionally break down social walls, build friendships, and create a comfortable, familiar environment. 

When GUESTS are Fed well and treated with RESPECT, they naturally feel safe enough to open up during the small-group discussions on-wards.
