In an HLM CATCH UP CHURCH worship gathering, each person may contribute something to edify the group, such as 

-- a song, 

-- a teaching, 

-- a revelation, or 

-- an interpretation of a message in tongues, as described in 

1 Corinthians 14:26. 

This verse emphasizes the PARTICIPATORY nature of worship (contra CONCERT PROGRAM LECTURE type CHURCHES), where everyone has a Role in Building UP the CHURCH BODY! 

The concept of 

"each one has a song or testimony verse" is rooted in 1 Corinthians 14:26, which states: "When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation". 

This verse highlights that 

EVERY MEMBER of the congregation is ENCOURAGED to PARTICIPATE in WORSHIP, not just by listening, 

but also by actively CONTRIBUTING SOMETHING of VALUE.

Being Connected & Aligned is A Source Of Safety & A Blessing!

For the life of me I can’t fathom how some “Leaders” act like Lone Rangers still in our day of 2025!  (Just running around not connected, accountable, or in relationship with anyone) 

This behavior is just so dangerous!

Sadly we have seen so many Big Name Leaders over the last several years, even some very recently, have great falls, because of this very thing. I believe every Leader needs three level as of relationship, which provide safety and blessing when they are in place.

Number One 

- every Leader needs a local house or fellowship that they are an active part of. Today, sadly we have some itinerant ministers that only attend church when they are ministering somewhere. They have no local church family. Nobody is meant to not be part of a family of Believers! I believe that God has ordained the local church fellowship and family and everyone needs to be part of one. Even though I travel quite a bit, I am still committed to a local church family, and actively involved in it! 

Number Two 

- every Leader needs relationships with other local Leaders. There is a safety in the accountability to having “iron sharpen iron” within one’s local region. Just like with the local church so it is with the local region, no one should be an island unto themselves. There is safety and a blessing being connected to other local leaders! We must come to the place where we realize that we are not competing with one another, but rather completing one another.

Number Three 

- every Leader needs relationships with other National Leaders, (those outside of your local region) (whether this be through a fellowship, movement, network, or denomination) (but to be honest most denominations bring bondage as opposed to freedom). 

There is something to be said for being connected to those that think like you! There is also safety and blessing with being connected to other National Leaders.

You might ask me: 

“Mike, are you actually connected in all three areas, or are you just talking theory?” No, I actually live these things! 

Localy, I am a committed member to CrossRoads Worship Center pastored by Anthony DiGregorio. He is my Pastor! 

Even though I function as an Apostle in the Body, when I am not out ministering somewhere else, I am there supporting this local fellowship with my time, talent, and treasure.

I am in relationship with other local Leaders in the state of NJ. Quite a few to be exact, and have been laboring for many years to be a bridge builder to bring leaders in NJ together. If you want references, you can talk to Apostle Kathy Bichsel, Apostle Kelly McCann, Apostle Everett Kelly, Prophet Evans Pierre, and Prophet Margie Grotto Fleurant.

I also have relationships with other National Leaders, serving on the Senior Council of The Love & Unity Movement Global headquartered in California having a National and International reach. Currently at this writing, I am one of a member of a Council consisting of 11 Leaders. There is safety and a blessing being accountable to the rest of the Council.

I am not one of those Preachers that preaches it but doesn’t live it! I have been protected and blessed by being aligned and in relationship at all three levels. I can honestly say that you will be too! So, fellow Leader, please heed my admonition and align yourself accordingly! It is a source of safety and a blessing!
