END-TIMES LIVING
His Life Ministries March 2025 Series

Main Verse
1 Peter 4:7-11 TLB
7 The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore be earnest, thoughtful men of prayer.8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults. 9 Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay for the night.
10 God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings. 11 Are you called to preach? Then preach as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ—to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen.

SERIES OVERVIEW
Global events like climate change, political chaos, more natural disasters, economic problems, a loss of morals, and other things show that things have become more difficult. You might wonder, "Are we getting close to the end?" For those who believe the end is near, how should they live? For this matter, our March series is entitled END-TIMES LIVING.

Taken from the book of 1 Peter 4:7-11, this series aims to provide a framework for living as the end draws near - living with a purposeful prayer life, a commitment to live with deep and constant love, and living a life that is committed to full of service and stewardship of the gifts, talents, and abilities that He entrusted us.

Considering the end will help one live sensibly; moreover, our way of living changes significantly when we accept the reality of life's end. It forces us to review our decisions, assess our way of life, and act immediately as required. In these challenging times and as the end draws near, build your prayer life and never get weary of showing love. While we long for the soon return of our Savior Jesus Christ, look for opportunities to serve and serve well!

1 Peter 4:7-11  CONTEXT
The context of these verses is that Peter wrote this passage to highlight how to live and be committed as Christian Bible Believers as we await the coming of the Lord anytime. Despite the sufferings and tribulations that they are experiencing in following Christ, they will stay committed and have the attitude to be faithful in prayer, love, and acts of service. This shows the unwavering commitment of a believer or follower of Christ to endure and obey Him until the day of His return.

WEEKLY TOPIC | SYNOPSIS | EMPHASIS

March 02, 2025 | Kick- Off | Birthday Sunday

Topic: END-TIMES LIVING:
Living in the light of the End

Verse: 1 Peter 4:7-117  The end of the world is coming soon. Amen.

Peter is writing to Christians who suffer for Jesus' sake and those who have taken on Christ's attitude that hardships for God's cause are part of our purpose as His people. He now offers a perspective that is both encouraging and a warning: It's almost over.
So, living in the light of the end gives us the mindset and attitude of how we live our lives in awaiting our coming Savior and King—Lord Jesus Christ. We genuinely live for Christ in our prayer life, in how we love and respond to one another amid persecutions and sufferings, and in serving God with an unwavering commitment and faithfulness.
Peter reminds all Christian believers to live obediently and expectantly in the light of Christ's return. He also reminds us that Christ's return could be any moment, so we must maintain a proper eternal perspective and pursue holiness in all we do.

March 09, 2025 | Week One  | Communion Sunday

Topic: END-TIMES LIVING:
LIVING WITH PURPOSEFUL PRAYER LIFE

Verse: 1 Peter 4:7 7  The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore be earnest, thoughtful men of prayer.
Peter writes that the end of all things is near or "draws near." Everything necessary for history to come to an end has already happened. Messiah has come, lived, died (1 Peter 3:18), been resurrected (1 Peter 3:21), and ascended back to His Father where He reigns now over the universe (1 Peter 3:22) and is ready right now to judge all who live and have ever lived (1 Peter 4:5). Along with the other New Testament writers, Peter affirms that we are now living in the last days or end times. So, what is the proper response to this awareness that the end of all things is near? Panic? Isolation? Indulgence in pleasure-seeking?

Prayer is at the top of Peter's list of things he wrote in his letter. It signifies that prayer is essential in waiting for the Lord, to be watchful and prayerful, to be ready for His coming, and to endure the sufferings while waiting. It reminds us to have a mind focused and eyes fixed on God rather than ourselves and what is happening around us. Instead, believers must be self-controlled and sober-minded, devoted to prayer to maximize their usefulness in God's kingdom.

March 16, 2025 | Week Two  | Lifegroup and Divinity Sunday

Topic: END-TIMES LIVING:
Living with Deep and Constant Love

Verse: 1 Peter 4:8-9  8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults. 9 Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay for the night.
According to the previous verse, loving one another is also the right thing to do when you know that the end is almost here. Believers should strengthen their bonds with one another because the Day of the Lord could arrive at any moment. As a reflection of God's grace and a means to overcome shortcomings and build unity within the church, these verses also stress the significance of Christians actively and deeply loving one another, displaying this love through hospitality and service, particularly during difficult times.
Therefore, to live with deep and constant love means to forgive, overlook past hurts, and build each other up when we fall. Living with a deep and constant love for others also testifies that one is living in the light of the future.

March 23, 2025 | Week Three | Facility Sunday
Topic: END-TIMES LIVING:
Living with Sincerity to Serve

Verse: 1 Peter 4:10-11  10 God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings. 11 Are you called to preach? Then preach as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ—to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen.

Peter continues describing how Christians should live in response to the knowledge that the end of all things is near. In this verse, Peter says we should take a different view from others about anything we might call "ours." First, he implies that we must see whatever we have as a gift from God. After all, we have nothing which God has not given to us. Second, we should see whatever we have been given as an opportunity to serve other Christians. In other words, we should not view anything "ours" as off-limits for serving other believers.
So, sincerity to serve overflows from a heart that understands love and understands that the use of our spiritual gifts is not to gain recognition for ourselves but to bless God’s people. By having this attitude, God is glorified.

MARCH 30
MISSIONS SUNDAY

LIVING WITH THE PURPOSE OF GOD FOR THE LOST
Mission Sunday

2 Peter 3:8-9 NIV
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Understanding and embracing that our days are numbered changes how we view life and live.
It encourages us not to be reluctant but intentional and to do what must be done now.

In the Christian faith, the Imminent Return of Jesus Christ should push a believer to be prepared daily and be MISSIONAL.

Our verse this Missions Sunday reminds us that God’s seeming delay in bringing about the consummation of all things is a result not of indifference but of patience in waiting for all who will come to repentance.

In the last days, scoffers will say that Jesus is never coming back, and that Judgment Day will not come (see verses 3-4).

Peter dispelled their claims.
He told them the world is temporary. God created the world decisively. The flood shows that God is not passive with history. Peter said we await the universe's flaming destruction.
Finally, God does not count time like humans do; therefore, the apparent
delay is not a postponement.
A thousand years are like one day to him (Psalm 90:4), and people can repent before Christ's return.

So, we must not sit and wait for Christ to return, but we should realize that time is short, and we have important work to do. We must do the job God has called us and believe He will return as promised.

This ARTICLE
I am dedicating to the
W.I.R.E. TEAM LEADER
of every SWC Schedule at HLM 🌐

*
SWC means
Sunday Worship Celebration

++++++++++++

YEARS ago before I became a Worship Leader and a Preacher, and even before there was a His Life Ministries, I was a "W.I.R.E." Team Person (in the simpliest form of FOLLOW UP MINISTRY)!

Yes yes!
That was the Years 1982-1984.
I received JESUS into my Heart in September of 1982.
I was BORN AGAIN in the Spirit.
The Best thing that ever happened to me --- truly an amazing grace experience, becoming a child of God.

HalleluYah 🔥

Attending a Youth Group was a JOY every Saturday. We met at the Sea Breeze Hotel Bacolod side Lobby for many months & Years!

Before every Saturday, I am assigned to Follow Up people.
To follow up the Youth attendees, I will use a Telephone (HOME ANALOG PHONE WITH ROUND CIRCLE DIAL) and CALL each ONE in the LIST. It's around 20 to 30 people that I would constantly REMIND:
"Come to our Youth Meeting --- D.I.S.C.O. (Disciples In Service for Christ Only) at 3pm same place and time. Ok?"
(many times, I will not even mention my name, but just to introduce myself as a Follow Up Volunteer).

Every Week I will do this for Months!

I thought it was just a mundane and insignificant activity, yet I was wrong, coz it was a meaningful power connection that brought a friendly feel to all who received a CALL.

Today after many years .... I was 16 - 17 Years old then, I am so happy to have an experience in the Follow Up Ministry.

HalleluYah 🔥

Communion On Line

Tomorrow Sunday,
will be our LORD'S TABLE SUNDAY at HLM.
That's every SECOND SUNDAY of the MONTH.

HalleluYah 💯

Tonight SATURDAY at 9pm.
We will have our FIRST
ON LINE COMMUNION.
February 8 2025.

HalleluYah 💯

Online communion is always
a “live” event.

❤️
His Life Church Family remain connected, and serve our communities passionately for the PAST 32 YEARS.

The LORDS TABLE is a communal activity. We believe that all are welcome at God’s Table.

Our HLM Communion Worship Guide begins with words spoken on Jesus’ behalf inviting “all who love Him, who earnestly REPENT of their sin/s, and seek to live in Peace with one another.”

This describes ALL who come to Christ’s Table and to partake in this Holy Table --- only for such group of prepared PEOPLE.

++++++

What type of elements are acceptable?
If, at all possible, use bread and excellent grape juice. The type of bread doesn’t matter (i.e. sandwich
bread, wheat bread, buns, pita, flatbread, etc.). In place of bread a Cracker would be an
acceptable substitute.

Are there items we shouldn’t use?
Yes. Please do not use items that “water down” the sacred nature of the LORD'S TABLE.

For example: stay away from flavored crackers or PIAYA, don’t use potato chips and soda.
Again, the desire is to allow the Communion elements to have a sacred feel. This is a holy meal and a holy moment; let’s allow it to be just that.

How should we set up Holy Communion?

1
Prepare Bread and Cup.
2
Join the Readings and Prayers.
3
Let's do this Together.
4
Remaining Elements may be kept well and served to someone who cannot ATTEND our ZOOM or ON SITE Communion Event.
This can be employed as you VISIT from house to house OR the sick and lonely and deprived if freedom. You may also have a Informal Gathering of a Small Group and serve The Lord's TABLE anywhere anytime anyplace AND STILL BRING IN GOD'S LOVE and CALL.

READINGS and PRAYERS BELOW you may use.

Try to create a HOLY SPACE MOMENT always as we remember the Lord's Death and His Coming again.

❤️
READINGS ....
Communion readings include Bible verses and prayers. Some common Bible verses read during communion include:

Mark 14:22–25
Jesus blesses bread and wine, and gives them to his disciples, saying "This is my body" and "This is my blood"

2 Corinthians 11:23-26
Jesus gives thanks, breaks bread, and says "This is my Body that is for you"
